Raise awareness on the importance of accessibility in our communities while enjoying food and drinks specials at several wheelchair-accessible Oakland businesses. Online pre-registration is open now and includes an opportunity to register for free, fully accessible ACCESS shuttle to your first crawl destination. Registration the day of the event is available from 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Special kick-off events to be held at The Tent at Schenley Plaza beginning at 5:30 p.m. will include presentation of three Business Champion Awards to Oakland business owners who model accessibility to the rest of the neighborhood, and a special dedication to Richard Meritzer, former ADA Coordinator for the City of Pittsburgh.
